Newly weds are often overloaded with presents at the wedding reception. During the evening of joy and fun there is often no time to open all the packages with the enthusiasm they deserve.

 

That's why it really makes sense to open them all up after the wedding.

On the big day they should only be draped on an extra "table for presents".

 

The guests which are making the gift should look carefully that they put a little card or tag on it so that the couple gets a chance to know who they received the wonderful presents from.

 

Very important: It is necessary to thank everybody for the present in a written format, e.g. on the thank you card all the wedding guest - as well as people who are "just" making a gift - are getting not too long after the wedding.

 

A small comment on the present, what you like most about it or what you will use it for adds a lot of appreciation to it.
